The one-piece boot naturally wraps around the foot, while the thick ankle foams lock the feet firmly in place, eliminating the need for an extensive break-in period. Players are further protected by a pro-inspired felt tongue that prevents lace-bite and shields against game-play impacts. The moldable tongue and boot allow for a personalized fit, enhancing comfort and reducing break-in time.
At the core of the Cele III's performance is the injected comp weave quarter package, which offers a moderate level of stiffness combined with the flexibility needed for recreational to intermediate players. This balanced design enables efficient stride development while maintaining comfort.
To maximize comfort, the skates feature a molded comfort EVA footbed, complemented by a microfiber liner. This combination helps to minimize discomfort, particularly for players who skate infrequently but desire a high-quality experience when they do. Additionally, Anaform padding is incorporated around the ankles, providing an extra layer of protection and comfort.
Underpinning the Cele III's performance are the Alkali-engineered components. The included Hi-Lo Outdoor Alkali Loki 82A wheels, paired with high-end pre-lubed ABEC-9 speed carbon bearings, deliver a harmonious balance of speed and control.
The wheel setup varies based on skate size, with smaller sizes (1-2) featuring a 64/64/68/68mm configuration, mid-range sizes (3-5) using a 68/68/72/72mm setup, larger sizes (6-7) equipped with a 72/72/76/76mm arrangement, and the largest sizes (8-12) boasting an 76/76/80/80mm wheel configuration.
Notably, the Cele III skates are significantly lighter than their competitors, weighing in at just 1,140 grams for a size 9 skate. To ensure a proper fit, it is recommended to select a skate size that is 1-1.5 sizes smaller than the user's regular shoe size. For example, a person wearing a size 9.5 shoe should opt for a size 8 skate.
